Hey; I'm new to these forums, and I'm looking for an answer to a question that's bugged me for the last week or so.

I'm a professional web designer, and on the main page for my latest design, there is a "Client Login" form. Here's what I'd like to do:

Write a really basic PHP script that, when a client enters the correct username and password (assigned by me), they will be taken to a page dedicated to their job. The page would have the same design, but they'd be able to see comments and/or questions from me, and the latest image of their job in production.

I'm not looking for an entire "user community" script, where folks register, login, and access different parts of my site. I'd just like a script that takes their username, and if their password is correct, directs them to the proper page.

It should be really basic; I can't see how complicated this could possibly get. I just don't know any PHP.

Please, any help is greatly appreciated (and code is even better :P )

Thanks.

Dude check for membership tutorials on the site, as this is mainly what you are asking for. Once that is set up then you can do the majority of the comments and images type features.
