Well, I registered a domain life2pixel.info three or four months back and create a tutorial website. Many people considered me as a ripper. Though the domain was really inverse of pixel2life.com but that was simply an inspiration.

I can easily say that whatever i learn in fields of webdesigning, i got it from P2L, so that was my inspiration. I am not going to discuss that again, beacause I had already heared it enough.

Now i have make my mind to change the domain name, can you guys suggest me a good domain name for a tutorial website?

Well how about something like:

tutorialfrenzy.com
tutorialpark.com

I'm not sure if any of these are already registered. If they are try different endings, .info, .co.uk etc....

This is like asking strangers to come up with a name for your baby.

Use your brain.

i was going to ask the very question for the site i'm making. it's not stupid at all... if u want something relelvant to the site and u've tried literally dozens of potential domains to find they are all taken or for sale on some site for $700+ it can help to get views from other ppl looking from different angles.

as for suggestions, choots.com maybe LOL... no idea tbh

How many more tutorial sites can we have?

Anyways... Since there are so many tutorial sites, all the obvious domains are taken. You're better off coming up with an original name, because chances are that its domain hasn't been taken yet.

Just as a suggestion only (hey.. no rock throwing...lol), what ever domain name you choose, I always recommend doing a phone test first. If you ever wanted to sell the site somewhere down the road, this is usually the first test experienced buyers perform!

What's a phone test? Pick up the phone and say the domain name out loud into it, as if you were explaining to someone how to find your website. It seems a lot of the new wave domains like to have the "-" in there amongst other things because it's "cool". But is it user friendly?

You don't want to say "www dot my dash site dot com... no... thats the dash on the keyboard.. not spelled out...it's on the top row of your keyboard...not the underscore...".

You want "stickiness" and something easy to remember.

Hope this helps :)

Glad I could help designcode. Keep in mind also, it can be just as bad with numbers:

2, two, to, too.....

You don't want to loose biz because of a simple mispelling.

It's understandle for anyone to want to replicate a successful website such as Pixel2Life. But remember, as with any site, Pixel2Life is a success because of Faken's personal persistance, and not knowing how to spell quit! :)
