Well I have created a new layout in PS CS2. I want this layout to have an expandable content box, since iFrames are icky. But I used to use iFrames all the time when creating new layouts, so im new to adding in a full page content area, that is expandable.

I attempted to create an expandable content box in Dreamweaver, using a guide. It looked fine and worked well just by itself. But when I go in and try to put it in my layout after I have finished slicing it and coded it in DW, it messes up my whole layout. I see white boxes everywhere and such.

Can anyone explain to me how to properly do this?

I slice and design with Photoshop CS2, I use Dreamweaver for the coding and such.

Also I need the template to expand with the layout too.. but this may be another story I guess.

can you show us the layout please so we can help you better by being able to see what and how it should be sliced like?

There you go.

The white bar in the middle is where I would like to have the main content title.

Then the area underneath it, grey, is where the main content will go.

The grey bars and the bluish green bar is the navigation, text is not added yet.

1) ur watermarks are too strong to help, it's not possible to know wot area u want to work on with them that bold, lower the opacity of the w/m to about 10%

I also need it so that when the content box does expand, the area next to it won't just turn white. And in this image, the greyish area in the middle is where I want the content box to be, a rough outline. The white bar in the shaded area will be the main content title, below that will be the content.
