Heres a new robot i may start work on
This is just the basic layout i have made in photoshop

But thays loads of tuts out there for wires , but i guse you want one to show you how i do it on the interface ?
.. As soon as i wake up i will do one for m8

, your helping me out me in away anyway also , for building content up for my site , it really needs it lol

Heres a little update of how iam going to do this, once i have got the dpeth of the shapes in place
i will be doing the metal shine and shades

cool, hey thx mate for ur tut, i used it on the horns on my weapon in the otherpost really helped, except i expanded it to suit my needs. (because thigns liek your cracks were't right for my image but made the basis of them.)

Iv seen your work, and i was thinking it looks a little like my metal effect, but i couldent tell if you did it in a 3d app

Thats really good, are you using Photoshop or Illustrator?
*Oh photoshop, thats crazy haha

d2, those wires can be made with the pen tool the best, in my opinion.

i think d2 meant the textures of the wires on most of spiders interfaces, which are very sexy indeed.
