[JFFSTRCH]

Havent had alot of time to finish this index for my site but its coming together very nice, http://www.zealotgam...tal2/portal.php

Tell my what looks bad, good, destroy it with things i should not have done go for it! It will altogether help me with developing better websites.

Banner looks ok, don't like the content boxes, and also the background colour does not match anything else.

With some modifications and some colour changes it wouldn't be so bad. Also some padding between the panels would be nice, and also some padding within the panels also would look good.

That's poor, sorry.

First - that banner at the bottom is too overpowering. Then your content is padded from the top by loads, and it looks odd because the site nav and side nav aren't.

Then you have that dotted line border around your footer, and that doesn't match anything and looks "ugh". Also, it's background colour is different to the rest of the background colours.

Then, on some of your pages your border overlaps the top:



Finally - your banner text is poor. It lets the banner down.

Ok thanks i fixed the banner at the top and am using text ads instead of picture ones since they get over powering. For the banner at the top im not sure what kinda of font to use so im just used a basic type of font.

its ok clean it up some and dont use the red bar for nav and boxs.

the first ones not to bad, the background should be a different colour though. the second i only like the header as its soft and classey, the conent boxes stand out to much over the header. id lessen there opacity.

id also add a similar image as to the top navigation bar to each of the heading tables.

(i.e. behind "navigation" and "content") It might spruce it up a bit.


also its currently content less, add loreum ipsum to the site so that we can grasp what it will look like with content.

added the images behind it it looks nice good idea

try adding the fake content and links now.

for content use lorem ipsum ( link suggested above ) and for the links make the url point to "#" (will simply just reload the same page).

that way we will be able to see if you links have any effects, if not then we could suggest some effects. with the fake content added we could suggest better use of screen size, backgrounds, positioning of the tables and so on.

it basicly makes commenting on it alot easier

i like the 2nd one a lot, i looked at it for a while and i dont see anything i dislike about it, gj ^^
