I've never sliced (properly) a website layout before & i'm having difficulties just, well finding where to start really. Heres my layout: http://img227.images...itled101ty2.jpg

I prefer to use CSS rather then tables when codeing, keeping that in mind would anyone be able to give me some tips in regards to where to start my layout. I really have no idea and so far the tutorials i've looked through have just confused me.

Yep, I read that. But I still don't know like how to do mine because the menu bar pops over the side rather then all the sections being in line if you get me. I also have one other problem i just realised all my fonts i've used airn't standards fonts... how do i get them to display without other people having to install the fonts on their computer?

Edit: Also the guide uses tables not CSS

i think the problem u're having if u are using just css is the divs arent wrapped, tho i could b wrong. as for the fonts, apparently there's a way u can do it using php to generate the image but with no real knowledge of php i havent got a clue sorry, i'm guessing u would have to get the host to put the font on their server... u might find the following link of use, i dunno
