its alright very simple mabye d some otehr colors, but change the background that same color is used too much

Personally I hate the colours, I think you need to be more creative its just a few mixed colours and a picture of a flower really. Not bad if your new to design, but not sure on that one.

I think it could definately use some more color. It looks flat to me. I also think the footer links should be on one line but thats just me. Good job so far.

it's a poetry theme. that's the point of the flower.

its pretty dull, navigation is a nice effect though.
add some written text (font) to the background. might make it less dull and give it more of a poetry feel.
