Looks good, the only bit I would change is the 'The server includes', it looks a bit odd, maybe stretch the full width across. ]

Keep up the good work

I like it a lot. It has a good look :)

The logo hiding behind the glossy curve is pretty sweet, although im not sure what the logo is - it still looks cool.
For a corporate website this is very good since its clean and the logo fits a corporate look too (appears to be just an icon).

Its a bit hard to read, probably because its scaled down.

I think to spice it up you could make the yellow glowing thing in the packages different colors. And for developer package maybe copy the package and make a few little ones around it. Also possibly change the text color of the package types, or lighten the background; ie: 20%gray, 30%gray, 40%gray so it doesnt lose its theme but you see a contrasting difference. I think the package area is the most important because thats the first thing people are going to look at, What is Offered! And if you are selling the template, if you have an eye catcher for the packages I think itd sell better.

Are the dots under the packages going to list features? (I assume and certainly hope so, because an up front site is really good to list what it has right away).

I would suggest taking that top color, the gray, and putting it at the bottom , because there is a lot dark teal (whatever the color is), and its nice to break it up and feel like you know where the section ends. (in my opinion anyways haha).

Id also place a good image inside the welcome text, obviously its just filler text, but nobody likes to read a bunch of intro text :) You probably know that, and image could break it up great.

I think the site is a little bit dark, but if you changed the lightness I dont think it'd look that good, so youd need a different color theme, maybe i just dislike the tealish color :)

Well thats my two cents. Constructive criticism is good for the brain :P

Hopefully youll lay it out in CSS (if you do that).
The problem may be the font, I cant tell what it is, possibly Lucida Sans? If so thats a safe web font. Just make sure you have a safe webfont :) Im not certain about having the .com dropdown box styled, I dont know if its possible to do with the arrow or not. I know you can't customize some types of buttons (ie: php browse directory button).

I don't know if its right for a hosting site, its not captivating or interesting enough to keep the user browsing the site.

However it is still a nice design.

It looks good I think, Except for the content box headers maybe don't have them just plain gray.

Ok first, thanks alot for the Awsome ffedback you gave me. let me answer some quiestions
Logo-well, That's up to the company if they still dont have one :), but i also thought it was quite a nice "shape" logo to put up there. its nothing special though.

It IS scaled down, if you want to see it full size, go here:

http://www.jdb-desig...stinglayout.jpg

The dots under the packages are indeed for info, I was just too lazy to type them.

About the image, yes i know, they are always good looking

I'll make it brigher and post it here.

About the coding, well, my knowledge with css isnt big, if anyone wants to code it, sure go ahead, but contact me ofcourse, or else there is no PSD. File, :) hehe

Thanks for feedback again

i don't know i still think its a bit plain for a hosting service site. Its a nice simple design, but wont keep the customer interested.

the content of course plays a part in the customers interest but the design plays a somewhat larger part as its the first thing you notice when you visit a site. If its dull and boring your less likely to take an interest in its content.

Like lostseed said before, some pictures will make it look better, i will make it brighter, and we'll see how it changes.
I wasnt going for a hosting layout, but when i was making it, it slowly reminded of a hosting layout, but anyway, see what i can do

i think its because of the colour choice, if you look at jortex.com, they have used a similar blue and grey but with a combination of bright livley colours. im not saying do the same but maybe go along similar lines to make your design as interesting and captivating.

with jortex they've used the brightest colours around there packages, which is where your eye trails to first, which is a key factor for hosting sites. and i would suggest you do the same if you want to turn this into a hosting design.

All flashy and too many graphics on a hosting site actually turn me away, I look for prices and support times more than I would graphics, and then I'd go and check them out on WHT for user feedback.

Majority of Hosts use stock images or premade layouts you see them all over the place jortex reminds me instantly of Template Monster, less is best we are not going to the site to look at pretty images when buyng hosting we want to clearly read the prices, specs, support, terms, contact and support etc. From personal experience hosts that have too much fakeness on their site and more images than content are not giving the person looking the information they require. An image of something that does not exist tells me little.

============
d2Squared,

The image at the bottom does not even blend with the overall template and does not look professional at all sorry.

Your choice of fonts to display this are not suitable for the background and yes I did look at http://www.jdb-desig...stinglayout.jpg they show blurry to me and very hard to focus on. I would suggest you use a crisper font.

Direct Admin login? what is the purpose of this? That should not be seen publicly.

Top Navigation looks slightly crooked and it's the choice of fonts giving that effect, also where you have the packages again the fonts look misplaced to the layout.

i know exactly wot u mean and agree with u... if it's not all that appealing the impression of the company is not portrayed in the best possible light...

i think wot danny was referring to is how the colours have been used on jortex... to me on d2's design, there is too much green and grey... the header is great, but from there it's really bland lookin and then the "the server includes" bit just doesnt look right at all to me...

it's a kool design but could easily be improved, maybe some lighter colours and a gright shade of that blue/green used on the text would help... not sure about the logo but that's not an issue anyway really... if "the server includes" is staying put i would stretch it across the whole width and use the same darker shade of grey as used in the header or even the green so it looks like it's meant to be there

It looks cool. Nice job on the little house and email icons in the header.. I can never get those right. lol.

Only thing I could say would be that in the developers package box, the box seems to be too small, since the word developer reaches right to the other side.. maybe think about making the box bigger? Just a thought.. or maybe I'm just a perfectionist :)

its fine, but some comments here sholdnt depend on me but should depend on the coder and how he/she wants it.

Thanks again for replys!
