Do people still use Microsoft Visual Basic?? cuz for me it seems old. Even though they come out with new products every year i've never heard people talkign about it.

VB is still very widely used and in most industries it makes an excellent prototyping tool (Due to the easy of use when developing GUIs). I believe .NET is still the most up-to-date version, though I could be wrong.

I use Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition. It's a good programming language, although not too powerful you can still do some useful things with it.

Plus this edition is free from MSDN so I don't have to re-purchase Visual Basic .NET 2003.
