ye, its just images man, it takes quite a long time to download.

tip, set the images as backgrounds of that table rather than an actual item in the table.
Id also change the background from white to black, remove the ant border and change the buttons to possibly some nice rollover text or something that would blend in more with the site.

i dont really like it the splash page is pointless theres no need for that and the site just doesnt flow or look good.

personally i would get rid of the splash there not cool anymore and secondly id use a script to preload the images so people viewing your site with a slow connection dont have to wait and watch teh images load one by one

. but looks good they never were kool lol... some sites need a splash/intro page but i'd only really use something like that if i had a lot of fair sized flash objects in the main page so it served a purpose (preloader)
but yea, other than that they really are pointless
