This is the first template I even attempted in the past year, and that was even my first. Im not a template guy, and do not really get into trying to make any, however my friend was actually going to make a site with videos, jokes and such and I thought since I can't sleep .. then why not?

I know there is alot of work, being my first I know it's not evne going to be liked lol..

I know the guy at the desk is very choppy, and no I didn't cut him out, I just found him on Google, as others from another site though it would be better to have someone drueling on the desk..

Anyways enough talk from me, heres the template. I know the text is terrible and I have yet to finish the navigation, and it's not the best. I just need help and suggestions on how to arrange items, or if I should just stop right now lol..




it is very small, I thought it would be better to do something in 800x600 as I know I have some friends that only run that size on their computer. So I thought I would do this one for them. The 1024 x768 shouldn't have a problem or will they? Like Pixel stretches and out of align placements?

It seems very.. "Expected" if you know what i mean..

Nothing to it.. Just 2 boxes and a banner.

Maybe somethign original would look better..

Spice it up a little, be different.

yeah I know what you mean. Although being a Template in progress, it does look just plain and simple and like others as I didn't get to finish the areas,however your right I wanna try and spice it up so I scrapped the whole idea that you saw and started a new one. Instead of 800x600 I fixed the height for better reliability hopefully and more content.



I like the colors better anywho lol. I will be working on the navigation and banner a bit more, before continuing on to the next steps.

Next Parts will be:
1. The Side Bar Navigation maybe, not sure if he really wants anything else.
2.Content Area
3.Advertising placement
4.Updates and Latest Blog Post or something
5.Latest Things such as Videos, games, and jokes or w/e the case.

ok touched it up even more. THought the idea of having paper as a background would pretty neat .. hence the name and banner.. would be nice to be on notepaper and such.

heres the new look, and def not done, the layout is still being worked on.

I did slice it and had IMAGEREADY code what it could ...

Imagine, Centered and a Black background outside of that.

Not the best I know, but it's all I can think of at the moment.
