I got a Stardock suite (with all desktop enhancements like Object dock, Windows Blinds, etc.) but when I used it all I could do was change skins, why is this? I tried installing CursorXP and my computer performance was horrible (usually CPU usage was about 80% which is 70% more CPU usage than it my computer used to be). I decided to uninstall it all and delete all of the folders, which was no problem. I don't if Window Blinds is supposed to allow you to only pick skins but how can I make a skin using Window Blinds?

Only if you're a coder, i would tell you to use such programs (hacking into windows, changing dll files and all).

I tried different times to use suuch programs, cos i was in love with the results they showed me at www.customize.org.

But since i am a noob, i got nothing but trouble with those. When i pumped up my security, i even got error messages, the moment i connected to such sites, so i got really paranoia on the subject.

I only use iconworkshop now, which basicly just makes icons from things i make in phototshop.

I guess what i mean is:
plz, listen to someone who's been there:
altough it all seems very beautifull, its only save for ppl who are used to fiddle with there registry etc... and now what there doing.
If you are one of them, go ahead and continue, but if not i would advise you not to start on that area.

This is just MHO though.

I always tell everyone that these thngs only slow down the computer. Once I installed Vista Transformation Pack in Windows so...guess what? After 2 weeks I formatted my computer. o just don't get these things. At least that's what I think.
