maya cv curve tool extruding

Hey,

ive created a closed path with the cv curve tool but now i want to extrude that to make a flat handle for my prize cup. How do i do such a extrude?

ive done that tutorial, but that isnt what i want cause you can see i have a closed path. I want the insite to be extruded half an inch thick or so.

You could try just lofting your curve (Surfaces -> Loft) then extruding that face ;)
hehe, kinda beeen a while since I've used maya, school is my life now :ph34r:
