Hey guys,

I'm just about to start up a new Web Development Communtiy site up (with tutorials, forums, blogs etc. ) and I cannot seem to think up of a name. Ive done most of the coding and STILL haven't come up with a name.

I was thinking TutsToday but I'm, not too keen on the Tuts thing. TechToday but it's web development so I don't think that's right for the site.

I'm trying to think of something that isn't too long and preferably doesnt have hyphens in.

Can you guys help me out here and give me some inspiration

Thanks in advance

Rule #1. Do not use a domain involving any of the following words or abbreviations:

tech
dev
tuts
gfx
leet (or any variants)
pixel (sorry p2l...you're fine, its just its overused now)
dl

That's all i can say really, a site's name really has to be our choice.

Well all i'm saying is, the other day when i was in ICT i went onto techtuts and someone saw the header. I wont say exactly what he said but he may have confused "tuts" with "tits" ;)

Bingo. I think if you want a professional site name you need real words (no one say google, yahoo....msn...lol) and if you're wanting to jump on ye olde band wagon you need a number :D

you don't need inspiration for a name
you need inspiration for a community, there are like DOZENS of THOUSANDS of tutorials/photoshop sites/communities.

you need to be creative to have sucess. even My-Tuts.com realized that tutorial websites are a very big cliche, since there is already a sucessful one... Pixel2Life.

I need a decent name first. It's not like P2L and GoodTutorials. It's a commuity where all members can submit their tutorials - not on different websites if you know what I mean.

"eiloo" ? I had this name in mind for a while and was thinking of buying the domain... which is still available... but why not be nice :)

i think it sounds pretty cool, unless it has a meaning which is offensive :P

Edit: i just made this, i meant something like this
