I'm making a 3d model of a car and I just noticed that the car won't be complete if I don't have a grill or lights! How can I make them?

Make it a separate shape, not part of the car, then you can group it.

I dont know what kind of grill you want, but you could do this for the grill:

Create a Plane, make it back.
Create a slanted line, change the render settings to render 4 sided and a certain thickness. Repeat the line slanted and crossing eachother whichever you please, or just make it straight across if that makes sense.

Basically the black plane is the backdrop, and the lines are the silver grill.

The lights also should be separate, but it wouldnt hurt to makethe frame fit the light holes. I would get the shape of the lights done, then the bulbs, I dont know how to texture lights for cars well.
