Submit it freely yourself to the major search engines, buy some google ads and they'll display on all the relevant sites for you, even paid banner advertizing on other sites. Submit your site to free index sites, forums etc spiders will soon pick you up.

Write some articles and submit them to tutorial sites and major article indexes.

When choosing someone becareful some will tell you they can take your site to NO: 1 on google if your seriously going to outlay money ask for proof or results then email their clients and ask them yourself. Google even warns the public on all the scammers.

If you want to get a good boost, put a link in your forum sig (but don't over-do it!) to your site. Big sites like P2L that already are pretty high up there in google will visit the link in your sig, and you will be on google! It's always good to put keywords in <strong> and <h1> tags, because some search engines are smart enough to realize that those are the key words.

Also, your site should be set up so that somebody can easily find their way around, and will come back to yoru site for sure
