How do you insert one image into a selected area of another image in Photoshop CS2.

Put it on a new layer, (open the image then you can drag and drop it between windows) and place it over where you want it, mark the area you want to keep and press the create layer mask button, or invert the selection ctrl-shift-i and delete whatever you dont want of the image.

Dance might have a good explanation, but do you think you could post an example of what you mean, Zion?
