i want to create a led audio meter in cinema 4d the bars that go up and down when music playing like what u would see on your car sterio do any body have any idea how to do it

It would be easier and faster to create this effect in After Effects instead...

Or 3DSmax also got this possibility. --> what you need is an "event controller"

Do you want this to fit a particular tune or be driven to any audio plugged in?
The MOGRAPH plugin would handle an audio triggered effect.
You can also make a simple 2d animation of the display, create an alpha that you can animate and project it onto the surface (tile switched off in flat projection mode, scale to fit). this would give you the ability to use the shader effects like luminosity and glow..
There's probably a million ways to do this inside C4D without having to resort to external software!
