Anyone who have a advanced tutorial for that?

This is one logo I admire so much.

Case is that 3d logos arent very hard to make unless they are very complex with loads of modelled details. The one of your example is for example not very difficult to make. Ths is how id aproach it using 3dsm. First of id make the special X shape in illustrator with hard cornders. Then id export it into 3dsm as a path and "loft" (search tutorial index) it to the 3d shape. Id use the clamfer tool to round of the edges and make shure that id have a ivent set of inserted polys that i could apply the green material to. The rest with a gray metallic one. Making both using the material editor without any bitmaps. Then i could make a copy of the whole thing and place it close by as you se on the picture, there are two of them. Then id add a matte/shadow material on a plane for it to stand on and some nice lighting, a camera and render it out. Ofc some post prossesing in PS after that.

Totally agree with Dance here,
so the actual question here would be: what program you have, and what effect your after? cos in 3D everything is possible  !
