Explain a little further...
1. Do you have the actual pattern, or, is is like erm... a photo of a real shirt (i sincerely hope not !
) ?
2. do you mean you want an emboss effect, or do you just want to recolor the background?

If i got you right, you have a picture of a shirt that have a pattern ontop of it and you want to remove this pattern from the shirt using photoshop? Am i right? In any case submit the picture that needs editing and well se what can be done, its depending on the picture quality and colours if there is a rasy way or if you have to do it all "manualy" with a brush so to speak.
