Ok,you might have seen my first tutorial "How to make an abstract signature". This is the "continue" of that tutorial
,in this one we're gonna make a nice looking tech sig using that sig as a background. You can find my first tut
here: http://forums.clantemplates.com/index.php?...rial_id=197
In this tut you'll need tech brushes (which you can download from deviantart.com) and..maby a little patience =p
Oh,and i'm not going to add any special pics to this tut eigther coz i think its too much work for me right now =P
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok,let's start with this bg:
The first thing we do is making a new "document" or just a new layer,i choose to make a new doc.Remember to make
the new doc in THE SAME SIZE AS THE BG!! dont forget that, then make the bg black. Now get your finest tech brush-set
and start making some cool stuff =P ofcourse, stop brushing when you're satisfied with it.Mine looks like this now:
Now go to your "bg" and drag your tech brushing to the bg (hope you understand this) and place it to your liking.
Go to the layer with the tech brushing on it and change the opacity to 70 or what you ever like best (this is optional).
Now if you wanna you can add a "heavy" border,if you don't know what i mean i'll show a pic of it:
Ok here's what you do.Make a new doc in the same size as your "bg" press ok and make a new layer, select your polygonal lasso tool. Now draw around the picture
until your satisfied. Then click on that layer and go to blending options. Then use these settings:
DROP SHADOW:
opacity: 13
leave the rest as deafault
INNER SHADOW:
All deafault
BEVEL AND EMBOSS:
Size: 0
leave the rest as deafault
COLOR OVERLAY:
color: change it to your liking (i choose white)
STROKE:
Size: 1 px
color: black (000000)
Click OK and you're done with the border!
Now drag the border layer to the "bg" (hope you understand this too) and place it to your liking.
Now the last thing you do is to add some text, i used these settings to make the text look nice:
DROP SHADOW:
Distance: 4
Size: 4
rest deafault
OUTER GLOW (optional):
all deafault
BEVEL AND EMBOSS:
all deafault
GRADIENT OVERLAY:
Gradient: 2nd on the list (foreground to transparent)
Style: reflected
Scale: 150 %
STROKE:
Size: 1 px
Opacity: 50
Color: black (000000)
click OK and your text is done!I think that was about it,here's my final result:
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial,if you have any questions, just ask! c ya'll!
2nd tut!!

Love it, love it, love it!
There aren't a lot of good tech sig tuts, and this (including part 1), is just what i needed to get me started.
Unfortunately, i'm with my parents for the weekend, and they don't have photoshop shame, shame, they will be doomed...
Anywayz, when i get home tomorrow, i will certainly give it a go, and i'll show u the result.
Keep up the good work!
grtz
