I need a little help with something in photoshop.. I'm using the CS version if its any help..

ok, basically, I've got something that I want to place into another picture to look like its laying on the ground, with the correct lighting positions, shadow areas, etc.
any help is much appreciated :)

Well you are going to want to use the Transform tool, so get the image you want to lay on the floor ok?
Select its layer and hit Ctrl+T, Right click it when it has the transform box around it.. and use the Distort and Skew options to get it to fit.

Experiment with those!

Post the two pictures you want to mix stuff from and say where and ill write ya a tutorial on it.

and start by drawing the perspective lines on a seperate layer, there a great help, when going to transform.
