Hi,
For some reason in flashmx or 8pro, I can't get the hit area to keep execution/hand when I roll over it in simple mode, publish mode/online or if the area I assign is huge, med, or small, why is this? And how can I get flash to assign the whole btn area as an executable part. Right now I just get hand/execution when hit area is assigned as huge dimension, I copy the down or up layers/frame to hit frame area and then select all to pull it out or smaller.
Please assist,
Thanks in advance.

Is this when rolling over text? make sure your text is static, if your cursor is changing to the text select one then you need to change your text.
Now the thing i do with rollover things is this -
Make a box, make it a graphic, set its alpha to 0 so its invisble, and place this in the rollover and idle frame, where you want the person to be able to roll the mouse.
Its much easier this way.
