This is more of a forum related question. I wanted to know if it's better to let guests view boards if you have a forum or not. Some people say yes and some say no, but I think it's overall better to let them view boards. If this is in the wrong place, it definitely can be moved.

View boards definitly, I hate having to sign up just to see something, forcing me to sign up will make me less likely to stay then having me sign up on my own will.

it depends on what kind of forum you are running.

Since your forum is about anime, I really see no reason for you to hide your content from your members. If any of your forums have downloadable content, then make it so that guests can't see the content.

Agree with Albino4zn, really depends on your content and well it's upto you really there is no golden rule.

Don't allow guests to post though you'll be in a looney bin within a week lol

If your submitting tutorials to P2L from your Forum definately leave those open.

I appreciate the tips guys, I guess I'll leave the majority of them open. I'll close the music section to guests and maybe the gallery art section (premade graphics). I'm really liking this place. :3

I agree with everything posted above, keep your main boards viewable to everyone.

yea i hate joining gfx sites and not being able to view certain things like resources (c4d's, renders, fonts, brushes) if you join you can just download the stuff and never visit the site again so its pointless
