whos getting a ps3...i know im not getting it right off the bat b/c sony is only making a few of them due to the costs of the console...for ever one sony sells they are losing money b/c they should be selling for $1000 but they only selling for 500-600 for each version...due to the cost of the technology going into them they can only afford to make a few of them...so ima try to get one the day it releases (the 60gb hdd one)...and if i cant then my PS2 will just have to do...

no because i prefer the xbox 360 and the ps3 is a waste of money.

Must have in my play station collection ^_^

Anyway, im not going to get it in the next 1 - 2 years, gonna wait till the price drops first. I was thinking of a PS3 + GTA4 value pack :)

But I did see the games at gamestop ^_^ I got to hold the case :lol: I bet you are jealous now
The dude was unpacking the ps3 games and stuff and I got to hold them and look at it :)

It's a maybe from me. The only reason the price is so high is because of the bluray technology that it will be using. The games will be priced highly also so maybe in 1-3 years I'll get it.

PS3 is old stuff, sure it's new but it had a lot of problems and they skipped on the equipment, getting a ps3? I think not, i'd rather buy Nintendo Wii becouse it's something new and I bet it's more fun than ps3 and xbox 360 put together, but hey that's my opinion.

2) Same controller since PS1? Wow, huge innovation Sony...
3) Any Good Games? hmm... wait... i'm thinking...
4) Unprecise and useless motion sensing? Good job at failing to copy Nintendo idea.
5) High CPU and GPU specs? Great, that still doesn't make good games...

I could continue but i think you get the idea...

The playstation controller is the best of all, it's perfect. Hence they changed back from their new design.

I'm pissed of it going to be £300/400, it's a cocky move for sony to pull and it's only going to come back and bite them in the ass.

Seriously, how many teenagers will be able to afford that?!

Since teenagers are pretty much the main audience game consoles sell to, somebody needs to give Sony's Marketing department a kick in the balls.

I'll buy it when it's cheaper.
