Hello all, I did a quick search as per the guidelines in this forum. And came up enpty handed.
I was wondering if it was possible to import a QuarkXpress (6.1) file into Adobe Indesign CS.
I'm doing this on a G4 Mac with OS X 10.2.x.
Been trying to figure it out for a good hour now and don't see a possible way.
I've tried copying the Quark file (when its open) and Indesign CS won't let me paste it.
I have also tried exporting the Quark file as an eps. Then converting it to an .ai and .psd. None of which I can seem to get to import into Indesign CS
Anybody have any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks, JoeM

I beleve that you are able to open quark files in indesign just by doin a Rightklick<open with and indesign will be able to open them, though some formating will be lost. It doesnt work vice versa with indesign->quark though. Quark is rappidly getting replaced by Indesign nowdays due to their bad customer relations and ignorant support approach.

Edit: Oh yeah right you are on a mac, i think you can drag the doc icon over the indesign program icon on the quickbar or in its program folder.
