Attatched is the basic layout of my new portfolio site and had a few concerns about the backend part of things and for my submenu.

A - What is the best method to get clickable thumbnails within a scrolling menu? I have the gist of animation and basic navigation through scenes and frames with actionscript, but haven't really messed with buttons within a movieclip or anything layered like that.

Also I will have the Item descriptions (found to the right of the layout) scroll down from underneath the preview window. When I click a different number, it will go to a different preview window with a new item description. What's the best way to go about this?

I'm thinking each item description will have to be made in photoshop and imported as an image. The beginning of the scene is no problem. Since I'll have a seperate scene per number, the beginning will just have the motion tween and then the stop(); command once it gets to the end of the tween. But when I want to go to a different scene, I want the image to scroll back up, and THEN gotoAndPlay whichever scene the button is linked to. Is there a script that allows me to play through the end of the scene and then go to the scene I clicked on afterwards?

Thanks in advanced guys.
