quick & dirty: create a blured image of the car and tween it from blurred to normal, on top of it create a mask that grows from in to out.

hardcore: Code it.. http://www.sephiroth.it has a few nice tutorials on image manipulation with flash.

my way: Jump to after effects create the whole animation, export it as an flv

That means that you should create a circle that is on the small on the first frame and fills the screen on frame 15 or even less.. depends how fast you want to have it.

Place that animation on a new layer above the background picture, do a right-click and select mask.

Thanks Funky,

When I do the tween from non blur to blur the motion tween doesn't do anything. It stays blurry until it gets to the non blur frame with no tween or anything. Pretty weird

Thanks

Yep, I put the image on the stage, hit F8 made it a movieclip then added a motion tween and nothing.. It doesnt Tween the images. Ive never ran into this before.

I'm guessing because they are two images and they don't have any "motion" to them so the tween does nothing. So do you have any idea how I could make it go from blur to non blur smoothly and not just go..... blur.............. non blur without any transition?

Thanks
