I'm making photo studio type site and the first 5 drafts were showing all the sliding picts, lines, etc, but now that I went to view the older version, unchanged, they are not showing the same content.
Would you know why, and what I should change/control.
Right now my guess is that most of the button, slide show/main content is under the root instead of on the main timeline, meaning most of the animated pict's are in the slideshow_mc.
Is that problematic and if so, why didn't it act up before, and even now it looks fine when previewed on my home pc, but when uploaded to site, it's not showing pict's or buttons, just the box, anim_colours and button boxes, no animations, accept the colour changing anim' first 50 frames or so, www.singleparentmusic.com/draft5.swf.
That link is what I mean, I would like to control this so when the drop down menue and scrolling thumbnails are loaded, they act fine, down the road.
Also, I would love your feedback about if creating seperate flash files for each gallery section to be loaded seperate, via d.down menu/button, should be loaded into movie loader, read from same directory. This is my next step after rearranging my set up and errors...lol.
Oh, yeah when I simulate download via preview, dial up of coarse loads pict's in 30 min's, grr, and even highspeed cable/dsl is close to 15min's or so. I cut pict' size in half, via fireworks, I may make them smaller and stretch'em in flash due to flash making the pict's auto vector, non distorted when I resize them manually, to save loading the proper pict' size, I just make it bigger in flash, is this bad? Plus I didn't turn all pict's into a graphic symbol either, so I am hearing myself, lol, and I see I should go create grphx symbols of the pict's too, I think that may be why site vs pc view is altered? What do u think?
