Hey you guys! I was wondering how u guys create torrent tracker?
I've intermediate level of php - can handle OOP, Mysql database and stuffs....

Well...i did some search on google to see if i could find any tutorials or articles about creating torrent application, but couldn't find anything except BlogTorrent - open source software that tracks torrent files...
However, it seems kinda vulnurable, unstable, and also it requires people to install this tiny torrent software. I just don't see it getting very developed,advanced...

Anyhoo, the best way of solution seems "do it by yourself", right? right?
So if you have suggestion or idea to enlighten my poor perspective of torrent stuff...Please fill me in!
Thanks a lot!

i dont know if you could do it this way, but what if you went to mininova or isohunt, looked at the source code, downloaded their php scripts and learned from those

Most community torrent sites use an open source backend ^_^ (hence why they all look the same), May i ask what type of torrent site you're planning on making?
