the header/logo is good looking
but the rest of the site looks like too much text and not enough images for a graphics site, id also suggest moving the Welcome Guest text somewhere else

i would still move the "welcome guest" text or maybe put it in a block above the main left navigation... i dunno

maybe add some little icons just to give it a little more depth... even tho it isn't a graphics website it still seems there's just too much text

i think to make it look sleeker, id make a new content box on the left right under the admin panel thats the same design
in there put the welcome guest, and if theyre logged in it can have a link to their settings/profile/last viewed or w/e

My main problem is that the design looks like it should be used for the back-end, not the user-end.

The content headers are really plain and apart from the header their is barely any colour in your design.

I agree with most that's been said. And where have a seen an arrow as a logo before...surely not here on P2L, but wait it is green here  Again it looks like a back-end more than a front end. Perhaps some more colours and such.

yes, more colors would be nice and i think you should align the admin panel box with the top 3 tutorials box under it
it may be aligned to you, but in 1280x1024 ff2 its moved to the left

The layout isn't the best but it's okay. The banner is clean but the logo makes it look scruffy. I don't like the grungey background as it just doesn't fit with a tutorial website. I don't like the font but this would be a great clan template for something like CS.
