Hi all.

I want to place 3 arrows around the edge of a circle, so that they follow each other, (like an environmentaly friendly logo).

I have managed to just draw what I want by cutting out shapes and manually rotating etc, but am hoping there is a simple way to make objects that I have created change shape to follow a round or square shape.

Does anyone know where I can get a tutorial for this?

Sorry if my description isn't very clear! Monday morning...

Any help is much appreciated.

Chris

Think following should also work:

1. draw your arrow, group it if necessary
2. make a pattern brush out of it (with right settings, but mostly they are selfexplanetory) --> select your arrow, click on the new brush icon in the brushes palette, choose pattern brush in dialogue, then try first with leaving everything to standard settings.
3. draw a circle,
4. apply the pattern brush to the circle. (select circle then click on your new formed brush)

Then changing some settinsg, and changing size of circle, experiment till you get exacly 3 arrows (or make arrows bigger)

EDIT:
change "stredge to fit" into the last option
change your spacing % to get less object on your circle.

Hey. Thanks for that info.
I will try that later if I get time.

I have made pattern brushes before, but when I try to make them follow a circle, it always completely changes the shape of my object. I will try the settings too.. From what you have said, I think that will help!

Thanks again,

Chris
