Hi

I have a little question..

I made a basic animation in flash.. ( With movieclips)

And I wanna use it for my avatar..

So i went export movie and saved as GIF.

But when i wacht the movie ( gif. ) Nothing happens

But when i wacht the Swf. It works fine..

How do i save a fla. as a gid ( or other file ) so i can use it at my avatar ?

Well, theres two ways. Theres the easy way, which has bad quality, and the hard way, which has good quality.

The easy way is go File > Export > Export Movie... and from the save window, select the file type as Animated GIF, and save.

The hard way is go File > Export > Export Movie... and select Bitmap Sequence, save it in a seperate folder so you dont lose any frames, open up Photoshop or Fireworks, or any program that you can make gifs with. Then just animate it within there (that is if you know how to use either program).

Either way, you cant have movieclips or actionscript inside your animation, or else it will not export right.
