yea well i adapted this setup from my dream computer... including 2 8800 gtxs in sli obviously with watercooling
but the watercooling plan went out the window because i cant find any socket am2 cpu blocks :D and if i didnt get this cpu i would get the fx-60 socket 939 but 939 is old technology and it might be hard to upgrade in the future

I need a liquid cooling system, and like 3gb more of RAM. Currently I got 1GB and it works pretty good. I think your setup will be good good!

Lol, I had 256 and my computer's fan was having a seizure from the moment I turned it on. Luckily I got an upgrade to 764 or something, but it costs so much, I dont think I'll get another upgrade for a while.

If I were you I woukld go Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme or at least E6000. Also, 700 watt power supply. A 400 should do just fine. Plus, a 700 is going ot be loud as heck. Also, if I were you, I would go to 2gb of RAM at least. If your using XP I would steer away from 4gb because it's too much for XP and can cause a slow down.

i have 2 gb, and i want the 700 watt psu in case i want to add another 8800 in the future, those cards alone can drain a 400 watt psu
i thought about the core 2 duo extreme, the quad core, but its $1100 and that would have pushed the cost up at least 500, prolly more cuz i would choose watercooling and that would mean id get the expensive 8800 w/ watercooling block so the cost would be almost 3000
