This sticker has a cool simple effect. I was wondering how do i go about in accomplishing this kind of effect?

what they've done is set the fill to 0%, added a 1 px border, and im not exactly sure what they did to get the 3d part to look that good, but i think they duplicated the layer, made the fill 100% with pink, and did something to give it the 3d look
i think ive done something like that before but i cant remember what it was, maybe you should look through the 3d text tutorials on p2l and see if anything matches it

I actually have looked through the tutorials, nothing that actually matched what i'm looking for.

I am still thinking about other ideas rather than that, but still not sure.

The effect desired cant be made by layerstyles alone. The nofill and stroke is there. But the 3ds effect needs to be manualy put there in photoshop by for example the polymarquee and the text layer duplicated. This could be done easierin illustartor though with the 3d extrude filter that is present there.

Since i think this was actually done in Illustrator, do you have this program.

If you do, there are bout 4 ways to make a Fake3D effect.

If you HAVE Illustrator, i will give you the fastest and easiest way to make this effect.

I decided to make a tutorial for this. It's pretty simple, although it isn't _exactly_ what you wanted, however I think it pretty much produces the same effect.

To get the exact effect you want, you could put in inner shadow on the original layer and make an extra duplicate layer of a copy and change it's color for the outside border.
