[SimplicityDesigns]

Hey all, I'd like some feedback on my blog..it's been up for about three weeks now and I think I have all the bugs worked out of it.

I am hoping to feature some unique tutorials for web and graphics design. If you have any ideas for tutorials then let me know too - I'm sort of having a mind block right now. :-)

The illustration is very good, but this seems like the phoenix layout of n-design studio.

I'm not a big fan of dark layouts, maybe you should give more color to the content itself.

Thanks Matheus...I tried hard not to copy his layout - I made the illustration from pieces of two illustrations I did. As for color, are you talking about the grey links on the right sidebar..changing them to a brighter color?

there is nothing wrong with the layout being similar to n-designs. I think the idea is the same, but how he made it is different, and that's why it important.
I like it, it's not bad at all man, like the ilustration. There is nothing wrong with the dark colors, but it feels too dark, I hardly can find my mouse

yea this site is good looking, it does look like n-designs site but theres nothing wrong with that
i think you should continue the two side illustration up to the top of the page
or maybe just use a gradient to fade them out
i like the design, good job
and i noticed the p2l text and link colors

I suggest making the background a bit transparent so we can see the whole background, but not too transparent, would be pretty cool...I think

yes, there is nothing wrong to seem like the ndesign, becouse the illustration is very diferent from theirs.

what I'm saying is to use more color on the content, not just black, maybe a column could have a diferent background color
