I want my site to be unique so I made this "unique banner for it"...I would like some comments on how to improve thanks.

it looks pretty good, but i swear ive seen that before, maybe you should change your approach to the banner if you want it to be unique
also the text links look too big and the font is out of place

Everything to me looks good, but I would make the main header a little dark; kind of hard to read right now.

You could improve your banner by changing the fonts or even changing the color of the font to black would help. Right now the color is to bland, if you were to use little more black in the header it would make it seem more of a theme and not just one color.

Yeah it is only one colour mabye you should change it a little but goos work anyways

Same here: looks good, only 2 little remarks allready stated:

main title just a tad darkened would be nice,
and somehow the menu items (home, gallery etc.) look a little jagged (it's not really jagged, but it looks that way) so i would try another font, more rectangular maybe, sans serif off course like this one, bold maybe, but keep the same concept, it's good.
Also maybe make there color (since there are "recessed") just a little darker blue too.
