Ok i want to create a coding template, i mean a website about html(xHtml), css, php.
Even more but i need a theme, i never made something that's relating to coding so i'm asking
you guys. What colors i should use, the structure of it. Maybe some example sites :(
First i was thinking making a similiar design like p2l.

I have been playing the flute for 6 years now and I love it, and I am playing the pipe organ as well. I also like to teach other people the in and outs of software such as the CS3 suite from Adobe.

Well, to second opinions in a similar thread. You don't have any ideas at all? If not, how have you planned your site out... because I, no offense, don't think that if you lack the plan of your website, you won't be coming anywhere with it. Your goals and such would be clear, which I'm sure you have that planned. Then hopefully, you've come to the conclusion of a unique design. Where again, a great way to do it would be looking around sites on that topic, for inspiration! (And only inspiration!!) Don't make them enough similar so that the first think you think of is, ah! that looks like "that big site".

So on the design, clean and partially simple with perhaps greens and blues which seems to be the trend now, (Web 2.0) and simply navigated and that old usual. And of course, don't be afraid to break away from the norm...that's when things get interesting!

I totally agree with ErikB. For this kind of website i would go for a clean, good contrast, easy graphics, web 2.0 colors ( and beside green and blue i would suggest light earth colors), easy to navigate layout. P2L is a vrey good example for well balanced design, well structured content, easy for eyes and mind. We can use css galleries for inspiration. You can find great examples of clever use of colors and content display.
good luck!
