I'm coding a few sites where I'd like to use mod_rewrite so the URLs are a bit more attractive and not sloppy looking..

I've used rule generators and such but it nevers really gives the desired outcome..

All I'm trying to do it change this (the default rewrite, really):

http://www.site.com?item1=1&item2=2

into this:

http://www.site.com/item1/item2/

It's simple, I might even get yelled out for not using some search ..but, I just wanted a well done explanation or something rather than a complicated documentiation explanation.

go there, it is a mod rewrite generator, that works.
