........I am not feeling it man. Too simple. Too not unique. It might be the text and the colours but I think you should improve the design and the header. Sorry.

The website looks really bland because you have really only used grey. You have to add in more colours and make the gradients smooth. Also on the content boxes on the left there is a little grey line that runs between them that looks really weird.

the grey line running between them??? the only grey line is the background where the margin between the cotent boxs are... and i am trying to give it a metallic look i seems to work well but you are right the header needs to be fixed and i will be the header is a temp header as im working on the other one now... i'm trying to have the forums and the site look almost exactlly the same like the forums here... but i'm new to editing with php and css and all... originally my first version of the site was done completely in flash... but i'm getting there... i will try and add some extra color maybe a metallic blue or something but no promises... my friends that arew admins of well known site seem to like it alot so i may stick with what i have and just edit it and improve it

kinda thing i would expect in like 1996 or something. i know that sounds harsh and it does sound like u've tried from wot u've said but i would probably try a few different designs first - the "scanlines" where the nav is on the left look a bit dodgy and i would decrease the margins between each link to just 1 pixel... it, imo, still has a long way to go... it certainly does need more colour tho... try orange/bright blue/red maybe (not all 3 tho... lol)

To put it simply, design has come a long way since that sort of look . Play around the best way!

Don't hijack peoples topics, make your own.

anyway, your site needs a bit of spicing up it's to gray. Try looking through templatemonster.com they generally have good site designs maybe you can get ideas from there.

It's just too gray. It needs to be spaced out more, take advantage of the space available and make it a bit more ... exciting? 4.6/10
