Hello all,

I've been trying out the cloth modifier according to a tutorial video that was handed out to me, but I don't get the same results.

I want to put a plane(cloth - default) on top of a collision object(sphere).. the problem is, that the cloth goes through the Sphere, and I'm not able to correct it.. or find the problem.

I'm uploading the video.. as soon as it's there, I'll post the link here as well.

Video (24MB)

Does anyone care to enlighten a newbie.. please?

Thanks in advance.

how many sub samples are you using? And how many subdevisions are your objects? As you can see i the movie you need to have a pretty dense mesh for this.

So far.. I've tried from 1 subsample to 20 subsamples.. it get's better, but not as it looks on the video.

Sorry for my ignorance.. what are the Subdivisions.. ? How do I increase the plane density?

Thanks

Subdivisions of a plane are how many times its split basicly, usualy when you hit subdivide a polygon is split once along the local x and y axis making it 4 polygons. Meening that im saying that you should try to increase the number of polygons that your plane are made up of. (damn that sentance sounded flaming and rude, sorry mon wasnt the intention :bashhead:)
