Anyone know how or can provide a sample clone of the *new* Digg menu in CSS? If you can provide a clone copy css/xhtml that would be great.

I need something like that then I can modify it to my liking. I like the layout. I'll change the colors and content. I just need the layout basically.

Also, it is important *please* if one can explain how to do the login style, the way it scrolls down the hidden login form after clicking the login link. That's a great idea :)

I'm pretty sure the login effect is done with AJAX. Try doing searches on AJAX code/scripts.

I have been playing the flute for 6 years now and I love it, and I am playing the pipe organ as well. I also like to teach other people the in and outs of software such as the CS3 suite from Adobe.

If this comes out the wrong way then look at it again...

You're actually requesting someone to "copy" the layout of Digg so that you can use it... I think it would be hard to find anyone. Try to come up with some own ideas and not just copy off other sites. Even if you change colours, it will probably be recignized in the Digg format

Thank you for your reply and yes I understand what you mean. The only reason why I said copy is because I really love the layout. Its a menu after all, so I believe to a fair extent there is only so much one can be accused of copying from another site. I'm not a creative person per se, some but not too much. I just wanted the layout itself basically. Mine would have different colors, links, logo, text, positioning (including width of menu) as well.

If someone can help, would appreciate it. I'm not a designer nor programmer, just a learner really.

For the login look at these two scripts. They are very powerful and can be used to do that:

http://script.aculo.us/

http://prototype.conio.net/

I'm sure there are tutorials out there on how to use these scripts to do that.

It would be done with ajax, you can also try http://moofx.mad4milk.net/
I was able to make a thing like the login on their site for my website if you'd like I can post the code (I used Moo.FX)
