This is not anything about how big graphics should be or anything. I just generally get confused on how large I should design my templates in photoshop because I see tutorials using templates that are around 800x600, which looks uncomfortably small on my screen. So any ideas on how big the width and length should be for templates? I know most sites' templates look to fit all of the screen and I had a free web server I was testing a template on and the information (image and text) were too big for the template. So any help on how to make information fit on the page would be appreciated too. I was told to make the images bigger in photoshop but I think that would be going through a lot of trouble, unless I just made the entire template bigger.

This is a frequently asked question, please use the forum search (keywords: liquid vs. solid templates).
