hiya,

I have been developiong this site for a while (see post in the blog for detail) but this is the mose upto date version, I am intrested in people thoughts on the use of microformats (can i make simplar to use?) and design layouts ect.

Maybe play more with the Nav? looks kinda lonly there.

The grey text should be a little darker makes it a little tough to read. Other than that its pretty good.

@d7x: i am working on some code now, to alter the text shading of the site with a little button, I should be adding it soon. thanks for the suggestion, i will experiment with making the text darker, and keeping the coulour scheme intact.

@d2Squared: I agree with your comment, This site still has alot of sections which are not yet online, there is going to be an articles section, and ultimatly (maybe - i might make it a seperate site) a portfolio. I am aslo looking at calenders (which will be directly importable with hCalender) and prehaps a photo gallery. I have not dicided on the final "content of the site"

I have just done a few more tweaks to the CSS, the site text is now around an eighth darker.

@davey: yeah, tha aim was clean and simple, I have a feeling simmilar to yours and it might be the fact it is not a "full wieght" site, as you head down the page, there are no graphic elements, I am still thinking of ways to resolve this. I am considering some "behind the page artwork" like what john hicks has done at hicks design (www.hicksdesign.co.uk)

I like the layout. I am a big fan of simple and minimalistic. This design is good, but it's not something I would use. The main thing I would change would be to add a really really light background on the sides with a light border on id="wrapper". That's just my opinion though.
