This is a newbie question, but I need the help:

All of the colors when I use brushes always appear very faded. It takes a couple of 'swipes' with the brushes and 're-clicking' to get the dark color I'm looking for. I've tried re-installing and re-setting default's, but it hasn't seemed to work, or I'm doing it wrong. I was wondering if there was a way I could change the default. This is for CS3 Beta BTW. Thanks for the help in advance. Hopefully this actually is a problem, and not just the standard color's, because they seem very light and for the lighter colors I can't even see them after the first brush.

Is the brush opacity set to 100% is the brush set to aribrushing mode and if so is it set to 100% flow? Is the brush mode set to "normal? is the layer opacity set to 100%? Are any layer styles set to the layer? Is the brush a standard brush or are the brush settings customised?

That fixed it. I was looking at the layer opacity and flow and both of those were at 100%. But looking at the brush sets they were at 25%. Well it was a stupid question, but you still managed to come up with the solution. Thank you.
