My boss says he is going to give me a 1099 tax form or something at the end of the month. I'm not really sure what that is. Will I have to pay taxes, or will they be covered by the company I work for?

If I make under like 20k/year I can request a tax refund...correct?

Ok i've searched on google and this is more or less what it means:

Quote

'The 1099 tax form issued by ARC represents reportable payments made during the calendar year on behalf of all of our customers.'
