Hello, I just installed windows xp onto my computer but I dont know which sound drivers to install and i dont know the name or have the drivers CD?
Is there anyway to find out or solve this problem?

Is the sound card onboard (meaning integrated into the motherboard) or an external card? If it's external, check the card and see if there are any brands or words that might help.
Once you've found something that might be of significance, go to www.driverguide.com and you should be able to find your driver from there.

I hope it is not a Soundblaster 7.1 ( Model Number: SB0200) one. I never found drivers for XP or XP 64BIT. And that means I'm not sure if it works anymore!

its an onboard sound card, that means i need to know the motherboards name right? Any good programs to find out please?

Okay - If you look closely on the motherboard (you may be searching for a while), you'll find a code (model number). Mine's a Gigabyte motherboard and a little bit under my CPU near my SiS chip fan I see the model GA-7S748 . It shouldn't be too hard to find.
The other thing you could always do is look up your manual
If you bought it new, you should still have the manual that has all the specs of the motherboard on it.
