Hey guys and gals. I am not really knew to this site, I love making new sigs. I always see sigs that have like cool designs on them, or lines. A few people I would like to mention would be, Atomica, Griffin, Hellzdev. Those 3 on top of many other great sig artists have my attention when it comes to their great sigs. I would like to know what program you all use, and please give me some tips on how do you make those nifty little lines. I know there is probably a tut on them anyway, but just a little help would be appreciated. Thanks to all.

Jack

Thanks for the shout out ;)

I use Photoshop CS. I suggest you read alot of the tuts on this site, make sure their good tuts not just some crap effect that the writer thought was cool at the time, these will teach you nothing. If you want to learn how to design Web Template look up web templates....you want to learn to make a certain kind of sig use the search tool to look for tuts on just that kind (grunge, tech, abstract, ect..)

Good luck and have fun ;)

Oh, and to make those little lines, you make a new 5x5 image, zoom in all the way and Use a 1 px pencil to draw along the top and the left of the image. Then goto edit > Define pattern. It should save that as a pattern. now gop to the image you want to apply the lines to. make a new layer and choose the fill tool. Then choose pattern on the drop down menu, and then choose your pattern in the menu next to it and fill your image.
Hope this helps!
Josh
