what happened to chaosgfx? i took a break from them for like 2 months.. and i come back and the url is gone...??? does anyone know?

Hey yeah you're right, what happened? I never really went there much, but it's pretty weird how they'd close down a very active forum. Maybe it was hacked again? I don't know..

i heard they got hacked by many hackers so alias (the admin) just gave up, ive already seen other gfx forums starting to call themselves chaos gfx

I dont get why people would hack the site? It was a great photoshop resource with an active community.

yea really stupid though, ppl replied to posts like a few secs after u posted and there was plenty of stuff on there to download

It was the second time they where hacked.
Alias was allready pissed of by the first hacking.
The second made him shut down the website

I remember when they were first hacked. They brought the site out again and it was 100% better. They should've done the same thing. But they should've moved to a new host, since the one they were on was easy to hack. And he probably shouldn't have used Cpanel since everyone knows how to hack them.

they should have given it a new name instead of chaosgfx and alias should have a different name cos as soon as hackers see that again they will wanna hack lol

They got hacked a few times, Alias never made a back up and couldn't be bothered starting it up again so he closed the site. He has now started another site called your-sig.com which should be up soon (I think).
