Alrighties, this one is my second version...this time I got to render it in the same scene. The shadows are actually..err...makeshift-ish, i was hesitant to add a floor in C4D because it'd totally kill the alpha [although, a 'floored' version is on the way] I think the bot is a bit bright though...iuno, we'll see.

hm. I just realized that it's not version suitable for a logo because of the perspective...i'll get a change on that. sorry for spamming <_<

Alright, i think this is more viable for a logo - rescaled everything :) Turns out adding a floor didn't hinder anything too much.

Congrats on the 100th Post in this thread, legendary fox, though sadly I haven't got a prize arranged for that! The work so far has been of a ridiculously high standard, and as I keep re-iterating, I am having an "Arse" of a time trying to figure out winners, but I hope by the 5th to have narrowed it down a little so I can give you some results out shortly after. The exact closing time with be 12:00GMT, so you still have a lot of time to work on this if you need to!

Keep up the good work lads, and even if I don't post for a while I still will drop by to view submissions :)

well anyway, I realized that my 'logo' was actually more of a 'banner' type than anything else, so here's a more 'logo'ish form of it...

First of all, I listen to good music :(.
Try finding somewhere "Stream of consciousness" performed by Dream Theater. Its a rough scech of how my brain works :winner: lol ^_^.
When you dont have ideas just look arround you, Im sure you can always find something to inspire you :)
